Consignment items may be brought in during regular business hours.
Second Wind Sports (SWS) sets the prices for the items.
SWS will mark down items 10% after every 30 days. SWS holds the right to adjust item pricing in order to facilitate the items sale.
The original consignment percentage between consignor and SWS will remain constant in the case of a mark down.
SWS does not offer item trade.
Payment for items sold can be picked up at Second Wind Sports during regular business hours. Payment will not be delivered to consignors, when all of the correct contact/account information is verified SWS will mail a check to the consignor.
The consignment period is 90 days.
If items have not sold within 90 days, the item must be picked up within one week of the expiration date of the consignment period. After this one week period, non-claimed items will become property of SWS and can be donated or sold at discount rack price.
SWS is not responsible to contact the consignor upon the end of the consignment period.
SWS is not responsible to contact the consignor upon the sale of an item.
Consignors may pick up unsold items at anytime. SWS is not responsible to pull these items or hold them for any length of time for the consignor to pick up. If items sell proceeds will be on the consignors account if items expire they will become property of SWS and may be donated.
SWS makes reasonable efforts to protect your consignment. However, SWS shall not be held responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed consignment items.
Prices are determined by staff experience, research of retail and resale pricing for similar items, the age of the item, the condition of the item, the season the item is brought in, and the desirability to the public.
All sales at SWS are final. SWS is not responsible for items after the point of sale.
